Ryan Feit

Official CCS2017 Opening:  ALEXANDER PEH
Head of Market Development & Mobile, PayPal Canada

Alexander works with Canadian businesses, partners and start-ups to enable compelling mobile and payment experiences. Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, educated in Melbourne, Australia and with stints in Africa, South East Asia and Europe, Alexander spent a number of years travelling the globe in International Film and TV distribution, focusing on emerging media such as Mobile, IPTV, VOD and Digital Signage.

Opening Keynote:  Ryan Feit
Co-founder and CEO, SeedInvest

Ryan Feit founded SeedInvest in 2011 and was instrumental in the passage of the 2012 JOBS Act, which changed 80-year-old U.S. securities laws to make it possible for entrepreneurs to raise capital over the Internet. Since then, he has served as a focal point of the budding Equity Crowdfunding industry, co-founding the Crowdfunding Professional Association and serving as a board member of the Crowdfund Intermediary Regulatory Advocates. He also worked closely with members of the SEC, FINRA, the White House, and the Treasury Department on the implementation of the JOBS Act.

Keynote:  Adam Blinick
Head of Public Policy, Uber Technologies

Adam leads public policy at Uber, and works with many levels of government to achieve best practices for ride sharing services and the future of urban mobility. Previously he was the Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Policy at the Minister of Public Safety and the Director of Policy at the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities. Adam will talk about the use of data analytics, strategic partnerships and integrated solutions with cities to impact future planning for disruptive new industries.

Keynote:  Zach Smith
Co-founder and CEO, Funded Today

Zach is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of the world’s largest crowdfunding agency, Funded Today, LLC which has raised over $107,000,000 USD and counting for over 200 clients. In addition to Funded Today, Zach owns and operates several successful small businesses, two of which were (Epic Profit Group, LLC and AgileHG, LLC) were the most profitable and fastest-growing student-founded businesses in the state of Utah.

Closing Keynote:  Martin Graham
Ex-Director of Markets and Head of AIM, London Stock Exchange

Martin Graham is the Founder of Secondcap Limited, and provides specialist consultancy services to some of the world’s leading General Partners. He served as Director of Market Services at London Stock Exchange Group and also as the Chairman of AIM, where he led the exchange’s transformational growth strategy focused on driving market efficiency and resulting in a fivefold increase in market size. In addition, he was instrumental in building London Stock Exchange’s international franchise, significantly outperforming all other major competitors.
